Resuscitation of Marginal Donor Organs Following Circulatory Arrest
A joint research team led by Project Professor Eiji Kobayashi and Associate Professor of Cardiology Motoaki Sano demonstrated that hydrogen-rich organ preservation solution could resuscitate transplant organs from older donors after circulation ceased — opening new frontiers for organ transplant medicine.
