In-House Microbiology Laboratory
Our in-house Microbiology Lab is fully equipped to test for bacteria, yeast and mold on products manufactured following USP and CTFA guidelines. Performing micro tests on cosmetic and OTC products ensures that the preservative system is working properly and is safe to use for consumers. Having a Microbiology Lab in-house means a faster turn around time for our customers. There is a minimum waiting time for releasing the product and shipping it out. We are equipped to perform:
» Testing for bacterial, yeast and mold contamination on products before running and in process
» Regular testing of water supply used for manufacturing
» Rinse samples tested after tank cleaning to ensure sanitization
» Bacterial contamination tests performed daily on equipment used on manufacturing lines
» USP Antimicrobial Preservatives Effectiveness Test can be performed on new formulas
» Testing also performed on raw materials and bulk filling products
